Sirius Talisman

A one of a kind talisman, made in an effort to create a talisman that was truly packed and loaded with all of the materia that it could fit, created beneath the first nova-bright breath of Sirius’ Heliacal Rise in 2026, this talisman was started with a carved tooth of a wolf - an animal of Sirius whose light crowns the heavens. Each tooth was carved with the sigil of Sirius and fed on the day of the Heliacal Rise for my location, until the bone itself drank deeply of the light of our star and took to the course of the work. In addition to this, there is a yellow beryl, the stone given by Agrippa as being under the ruling of Sirius, set at the crown of the tooth. This yellow beryl was fed and empowered alongside the wolf tooth during the Heliacal Rise with brilliant aquamarine which is studded on the outer edges of the tooth. 

Mixed into the clay of the physical body of the talisman are: Bay laurel berry, Cedar, Cherry wood, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Juniper, Linden, Liquid-Amber resin, Meteorite chips, Moldavite chips, Goatskin Parchment with the sigil of Sirius reduced to ash, Red coral powder, Snake skin reduced to ash, Rattlesnake tongue reduced to ash, and White sage, all brought to powder among a slithering and hissing host of other materia left unnamed. In addition to this materia, the outside of the talismans body was dusted in powdered Lapis Lazuli.

Traditionally, Sirius is a star of inexhaustible creative fire; a sovereign emblem of benevolence, excellence, triumphant success, and the kind of abundance that arrives crowned and undeniable. It is the flame of the Shining Court of Summer, a flame of devotion that does not waver. Those who work by its light move with a commanding force: prolific in their art, relentless in their becoming, and crowned by a sapphire-tined brilliance.

The eyes of the witch are larger than any stomach and they see more - for the witch, Sirius is the Queen of the Shining Summer Court, the burning law of beauty, and the swift serpent of command that guides the witch or worker to shining brilliance; Sirius teaches and grants the ability to command with respect, to be relentless in the pursuit of success, to shine above all others the way She does. She guides the art of shape-changing into wolves and other beasts of the fecund fields of summer, and in the arts of glamour, control, and subtle victory. 

This talisman is a potent forms of Sirius, and the one containing the most materia of any Sirius Talisman I have ever offered, ready to be worked anytime that you need to call on the aid of the star; to be worked when you need to command and influence, when you need to be seen in shining beauty and brilliance, to be regarded highest of all, and when you need to get your way. Beyond countless practical applications, the witch may work these talismans in rites of skin-changing, to contact and work with the Shining Summer Court of Others, and to lay petitions at the feet of this Queen whose face is painted in the blood of Mulberries. Beyond all of the potentials listed above, there lies much unsaid about these talismans and their potential. The Talisman arrives on a 20-inch cord with a 1oz bottle of Sirius Oil, a 1/2oz bottle each of Oil of the Antlered Sovereign and Oil of the Verdant Hare, along with detailed instructions and suggestions for use.
