An idea formed on a rainy night in late winter after an evening of ritual with Gary of Manticores Den, this limited batch of Jewel of the Crossroads Bracelets and a sister Oil of the same name were birthed and built over the course of three months, all born from a fusion of Thai Sorcery and Quimbanda with hints of Witchcraft knotted in its seams. Even though this listing is for the oil only, I will be including the full writeup of how the Jewel at the Crossroads Oil, Takrut Bracelets, and the Charm Balls were made to allow room for the full picture to unfold:

Before we moved forward with this idea, we asked permission of our spirits to create these items and took note of which spirits stood up to patron this work. These beads and the Oil are patroned and blessed by many spirits, some of which are made known while others stay hidden.

After permission and further recipe additions were given by our spirits all work began on a glyph used in my personal practice for general blessings and prosperity that was marked on stone that became the base upon which all of this was built. Atop this stone the heart powder of Jewel at the Crossrods began with a foundation of Haus’ Road Opener Powder, a potent ally with which to work when one needs to clear the roads that are the paths to our goals and desires to ensure that they may be successfully obtained, to level and clear blockages and stagnation in life, and to attract good fortune, love, luck, financial growth and gain, good health, etc. After the Road Opener Powder, four powders from Gary were added in: A powder left unnamed for removing obstacles and clearing the way, a Money Drawing Powder, a protection powder, and a Saneah powder from his Thai Sorcery teacher Ajarn Apichai which grants mercy and charm. Within this context, mercy and charm are meant to be understood as kindness, compassion, love, and charm, meaning that when working with the Jewel at the Crossroads wares people around you will be more inclined to want to help you and to be kind to you while also paving the way for opportunities to manifest. Another quality of the Saneah Powder is that it will encourage that things go your way, often making them happen in strange ways, as I have seen this manifest as people going out of their way to help me or to offer me things when I work saneah charms.

During one of the nights of creation, all that was made up to that point was presented to our spirits with proper offerings made to them. This offering was left in the appropriate places beneath the cloak of night, with a pinch of each offering added to the main powder. We add this so that the spirits involved know that they were paid and as a reminder for them to work through the wares in the ways that have been agreed upon through extensive divination. All of these powders were added to the mother bottle of Jewel at the Crossroads Oil along with a lodestone that had previously been fixed to attract money and wealth along with boons of fortune and topped with oil.

Pulling the threads of witchcraft into the seams of these wares, Jewel at the Crossroads Oil contains several additions of planetary and stellar materia including most notably a Ruby that was prepared and consecrated during a Sun in Aries degree of exaltation election which imparts natural qualities of drive, focus, and success to the oil. Additionally, several garnets that were prepared beneath the light of Regulus, the star that marks the heart of the Leo constellation, were added to the oil, imparting qualities of success, fortune, and abundance. Crowning out this trio, several Rubies prepared with Aldebaran float and swim freely in the mother bottle, instilling the oil with capabilities of protection, drawing money, fortune, renown, and honor.

Once the Jewel at the Crossroads Oil and base powder were finished Gary and I set off to work on the next big step of creating these wares which was to carve sigils and glyphs into 25 copper sheets that would make the center of our beads, combining Thai Sorcery and Quimbanda. The inspiration for these comes from Thai Sorcery, as these scrolls are what are called Takruts which are amulets that come from Thailand formed from “scrolls” of metal which have been carved into with sigils and glyphs using the appropriate ritualized carving tools and rolled into a tube. After completing the engraving of the copper takruts all of the powders that we had made along with several drops of Jewel at the Crossroads were mixed into high-quality clay with appropriate prayers whispered into the clay as it was worked and formed into beads around the central takrut scrolls.

Three of the takrut bracelets are a more “deluxe” version, each having a 6mm Ruby that was worked and empowered during a solar degree of exlatation election embedded into the clay. These rubies impart capabilities and qualities of commanding attention and the building of notoriety, the bringing of joy and virility, attraction of prosperity and wealth, protection from those who would harm us, among much else all falling beneath the light of the Sun in Aries.

Once all 25 takruts had dried they were strung up on red cords which were made adjustable to fit any wrist size and then presented alongside the Charm Balls and the Oil to all of the spirits that patroned them along with sufficient offerings as payment for the succesful completion. Following this final blessing by our spirits we presented all of the wares to each of our personal Phra Ngangs, spirits known for their capabilities in the attraction and steady influx of money, making others kind to you, in the promotion of an aura of sexual attractiveness, protection, and in the promotion of luck and favor. When we presented these wares to our Phra Ngangs we gave several offerings in exchange for their blessing, one of which was a bouqet of flowers which were dried and powdered down after they had sat on the shrines.

While much more work was done to these wares than is being shared, I suppose its time that I get into what the oil actually does. The Jewel at the Crossroads wares, when worn or carried, serve seven main functions:

Road Opening and Block Busting: So that the wearer may always attain their goals and desires while having that which stands in your way of that removed.

Money and Prosperity Drawing: So that you have financial stability and a steady influx of money

Good Fortune: So that you are lucky and fortunate, and for opportunities and good things to find their way to the wearer

Success: So that the wearer might have the drive, charisma, and crown of success with which to achieve all pursuits

Mercy and Charm: So that those around the wearer are kind and compassionate, for others to be inclined towards helping you, for the roads of opportunity to be paved in front of you

Blessings: This is categorized a bit differently, as the wares impart general blessing to the wearer of good fortune, charm, financial gain, and success

Protection: To protect the wearer from that which would cause them harm either physically or spiritually

All 25 Jewel at the Crossroads Takrut Bracelets arrive with a 1 fl oz glass bottle of Jewel at the Crossroads Oil which can be worn alone or be used to feed the bracelets themselves. Only 7 bottles of Jewel at the Crossroads Oil are available standalone. Each Takrut and Oil will arrive with instructions and suggestions for care and usage.

Additionally there are 7 Jewel at the Crossroads Charm Balls being offered which are small carryable charms meant to work in similar manner to the takruts, though noting that they do not have the interior takrut scroll, but rather contain a blend of all of the materia that created the body of the takrut beads. The balls themselves measure about 3/4 inch in thickness and are designed to be able to be carried in the pocket or in a bag to reap the benefits of the powders that formed them. The charm balls will arrive with brief instructions on how to care for and work with them.
