Made in offering to The Root of the Dream, Fomalhaut Oil is both an offering and a calling card to the virtues of Fomalhaut; The Star of the Witches. Fomalhaut, known as the Watcher in the South, the Mouth of the Fish, is the swimming dreamer beneath the depths of the water. This is an oil for dreamers, for those who would dream the big dream, those that would swim through it and grasp at that which they find in those opalescent waters; an oil for artists and creatives, to push and bolster the creative tides, allowing them to flow through us; an oil for diviners and those who would see. 

Created during the 2024 heliacal rise of Fomalhaut for my location, the mother bottle contains in part: a hagstone which was worked during the dawning of the stars’ light, Freshwater Pearl, Carnelian, Meteorite, Red Coral, pieces of a dove nest, dove feather, snakeskin, snake bone, Mint, Mandrake (Mandragora officinarum), Seaweed, plants gathered from a riverbed on the day of the heliacal rise, and Nympaea caerulea among a swimming and swalloing host of other materia. 

In practicality, Fomalhaut Oil can be worked with to call on the light of Fomalhaut to add its virtues to any working or charm that requires it. Often overlooked in conversations of stellar talismans, oils, powders, etc. is that the oil itself is a living talisman of the star it was made under, which bears the weight of the fact that you can utilize these oils and powders to make short-lasting talismans with simply an oil.
