These charms also act as potent charge and battery to all Road Opening works and can be kept near candles, lamps, or general workings to give a large and noticeable boost in efficacy to any Road Opening works done in their presence.

These Road Opener Charms contain the Fifth Pentacle of Mercury inscribed on goatskin parchment, a solid-silver Mercury Dime fixed with a wash of mercurial materia to act as both empowerment and payment to the spirits of the road, Adder’s Tongue, Carrot, Cinquefoil, Cinnamon, Civet Oil, Dill, Fennel, Fumitory, Heather, Juniper, Lavender, Licorice, Marjoram, Papyrus, Parrot, Parsley, Serpent, Squirrel bone and fur, Spider, and Vervain among a large host of other plants, animalia, and minerals brought to powder. In addition to this powerhouse of Mercurial materia nestled into the charm, this was further boosted with road opener materia comprised of dirt from a 7-way crossroads, dirt from seven 4-way crossroads, Abre Camino from my garden, Coconut, Vetiver, Cinnamon, Five Finger Grass, Deerstongue, High John root, Gator paw, Gold, Rabbit feet, Lemongrass, Emerald, and Grains of Paradise among other materia to be left hidden, all brought to powder.
