Heart Oils

Heart Oils are the hearts from which much of the planetary and stellar work of Haus of Ophidious is born. Each is a concentrated liquid talisman compounded during a particular planetary election, made to capture and preserve the character of that specific moment in the heavens.

A Heart Oil may be used to midwife new oils, charms, and talismans into being; to consecrate or empower existing materia; or to lend the force and virtue of its heavenly source to a working. They can also be worked with directly, drawing the influence of the planet or star into one's own operations according to its particular nature and virtues.

These Heart Oils are living reservoirs of a particular election, preserved in matter so that its moment of grace may continue to be worked long after the heavens have moved on.
