Datura comes as witch, seer, and frenzied other beneath pillows of seductive scent leaping and flitting about from its white leathery flowers. Knowing centuries of use in cultures the world over, Datura has been approached as a love-philtre, a seductress, a witch in green form capable of making and fulfilling pacts, a trickster and a teacher, a skin-changer, as an agent of confusion and aggression, and in myriad other forms befitting the angels of the genus.

Through ritual interment in the earth over the course of new moon to new moon, it was this family of angels that were called into and out of each root, fed, and pacted with to act as a familiar spirit to each witch or worker who subsumes their pact and meets their angel in frenzied fire. Born of milk and honey, thirsty for the red-ichor of the witch, each Datura Root Fetiche lends itself well to works of skin-changing, ecstatic visionary work, in works of war and aggression, purification, and seduction among myriad other benefits birthed through the alignment of witch and root.

It was originally intended to top each root with a sculpted head befitting each individual root, though this was refused by the spirit overseeing the work of the roots, in favor of allowing the chance for each witch and worker who possesses one of these allies to carve out the face of each root over time, or to allow it to remain innocuous and hidden.

The roots measure thus:

Root A: Roughly 10 inches long

Root B: Roughly 9 inches long

Root C: Roughly 7.5 inches long

Each root arrives wrapped in cloth with instructions for taking on the pact of the root, possible ritual setups, potentials of face carving, and care and keeping instructions along with a bottle of Datura Oil.

Please be aware that these roots require regular feeding at least once a month after the pact has been taken on. In time, if you no longer seek the companionship of your root, instructions for severing the pact are provided.
