 Henbane ;

Conjuring images of the dead but also of the sun. Henbane was said to crown the dead as they crossed the River Styx to ensure that they would forget the lives they once lived. This leads to show how henbane can be used in various ways and workings to cause confusion and forgetfulness. Henbane is also associated with Apollo. Henbane seeds can be charred and the smoke inhaled to produce visions, however this method is dangerous, it is said that this method is linked to the oracles of Greece. In connection to Apollo, Bay leaf that I hand picked was added to this blend as an ode to the god of the sun and henbanes solar virtues. 

Hyoscyamus Niger has been used in many cultures as a plant to shift into other which is why mugwort was added as it has its own divinatory and skin turning virtues. Mugwort adds a calm dreaminess to this blend and mellows out the solar aspect.

Orange Essential oil was added to bring a solar scent while lavender mellows it out and brings an anti fungal property to the blend while acting as a preservative.
